Fascia and Soffit Installation

Enhance the look and protection of your roofline with professional fascia and soffit installation using materials like aluminum, wood, or fiber cement.

  • Fascia: A horizontal board that encloses the edge or face of the projecting eaves on your home. It also acts as another barrier against the elements. Your fascia board is also what your gutters attach to on your home. Your fascia can be wrapped in aluminum, or installed with Cedar, Pine, LP, or Hardie board.
  • Soffit: Known as the finish to the underside of the overhang on your home or building that connects the far edge of your roof to the outside wall. While it may appear that it is more aesthetics, it is crucial for ventilation! We offer soffit in Aluminum, Wood, LP or Hardie panels.

Comparing Siding Options

Fiber cement, engineered wood and vinyl each offer different combinations of durability, appearance and cost, and each suits certain homes better than others.

Fiber cement is dense and dimensionally stable, performs well through freeze-thaw conditions, and is more labor-intensive to install. Engineered wood is lighter, accepts paint well, and offers good impact resistance. Vinyl is typically the most economical and quickest to install, and insulated profiles have improved considerably over older products. Each remains widely used because each suits different applications.

Siding functions as a shedding layer rather than a sealed barrier. Water can pass behind it at windows, doors and other penetrations, and the weather-resistive barrier and flashing beneath are what direct that water back out. When those components are compromised, damage can develop in the wall assembly while the visible surface appears intact.

Often yes, particularly when damage is limited to one elevation and the existing profile is still manufactured. Full replacement is more appropriate when the sheathing behind the siding has been affected, or when a discontinued profile means a repair could not be matched visually.

The roof and siding meet at fascia, rake and step flashing, and those transitions are common points of water entry. Completing both together allows those connections to be detailed as a single assembly rather than by separate trades at different times.
