We install roofing systems from GAF, Owens Corning, IKO and Malarkey. Working with multiple manufacturers allows material selection to be based on the characteristics of each roof — its pitch, exposure, deck condition and intended service life — rather than on a single product line.
It is worth noting that shingle selection is only one factor in roof performance. Ventilation, underlayment, waterproofing membrane at eaves and valleys, and flashing at penetrations all contribute significantly to how a roofing system performs over time, and these components are not visible once installation is complete.
Manufacturer specifications also govern warranty coverage. Installing a complete system according to those specifications is what allows the associated manufacturer warranties to apply.
